DETACHED HOMES:

You are responsible for exterior & interior maintenance of the home and you pay an annual Master Association Fee of approximately $978 (2004-2005 fiscal year) to operate all leisure amenities, golf courses, common space and roads, staff, etc. A special assessment of $700 per homeowner was made December 2003 to increase reserve funds. There may or may not be further special assessments in future.

This is ideal if you want a low maintenance lifestyle or travel a great deal. You also pay the Master Association annual fee and any special assessments as described under DETACHED HOMES.

 Some floor plans better allow for conversion as the baby boomers arrive in Sun City and demand more rooms than the early Del Webb designs.

In this Reno plan, the standard covered patio was enclosed to expand the living area. Double French doors bring the outside inside, while the alumna wood awning offers cool comfort on the new extended patio. Now summer heat does not beat in my windows & summer dinner parties are as good as in Provence - just don't grow my own olives! But I do grow pomegranates for an amazing salad.
